Well, my family and I are safe at our Galveston house.
As for my home; it's gone.
The flood waters came in Sunday morning to the tine of six and a half feet. Everything I own, including all of my art, miniatures, and costuming is in a soup of brackish water.
My brand new jeep is several feet under water, and if it hadn't been for our six month old pitbull, we would have never awoken to save my Tegu lizard who was floating on a painting canvas downstairs.
For now, we are all safe, but do not expect any uploads from me for possibly months.
